The Indian two-wheeler industry experienced a fall of 8.07% in February 2025, with overall sales falling to 9,59,598 units from 10,43,813 units in February 2024. Even though there was a fall, some models remained on top, while others witnessed impressive growth.

Top 10 Two-Wheelers in February 2025 – Year-on-Year (YoY) Comparison

Hero Splendor – 2,07,763 Units (-25.25%)

Hero Splendor retained its crown as India’s best-selling two-wheeler but saw a notable decline of 25.25% from 2,77,939 units in February 2024.

Honda Activa – 1,74,009 Units (-13.05%)

Honda Activa remained the top-selling scooter but recorded a 13.05% drop from last year’s 2,00,134 units.

Honda Shine – 1,54,561 Units (+8.26%)

Honda Shine recorded a 8.26% growth in a positive way, improving from 1,42,763 units in February 2024, reflecting growing demand in the commuter bike market.

TVS Jupiter – 1,03,576 Units (+40.23%)

TVS Jupiter recorded the largest gain in the top 10 with a 40.23% growth from 73,860 units last year.

Bajaj Pulsar – 87,902 Units (-21.90%)

Bajaj Pulsar witnessed a stinging 21.90% fall, with sales of 87,902 units as opposed to 1,12,544 units last month in February 2024.

Hero HF Deluxe – 70,581 Units (-7.30%)

Hero HF Deluxe was still a trendsetter but slipped 7.30% to 76,138 units compared to last year.

Suzuki Access – 59,039 Units (+4.54%)

Suzuki Access continued to be one of the scooter favorites with a slight 4.54% increase, higher than 56,473 units.

TVS Apache – 37,954 Units (+9.72%)

TVS Apache achieved a strong 9.72% growth, selling 37,954 units compared to 34,593 units in February 2024.

TVS XL 100 – 33,572 Units (-18.23%)

The TVS XL 100 moped experienced a steep 18.23% fall compared to 41,059 units last year.

Royal Enfield Classic 350 – 30,641 Units (+8.23%)

The Classic 350 sustained its popularity, registering an 8.23% YoY growth from 28,310 units.

Top 10 Two-Wheelers in February 2025 – Month-on-Month (MoM) Comparison

Following a robust January, two-wheeler sales fell by 6.85% in February 2025, to 10,30,163 units. Here’s how the top-selling models fared compared to January:

  • Hero Splendor fell 19.92%, from 2,59,431 units in January.
  • Honda Activa increased 4.36%, from 1,66,739 units.
  • Honda Shine fell by 8.16%, from 1,68,290 units.
  • TVS Jupiter fell by 3.96%, from 1,07,847 units.
  • Bajaj Pulsar fell by 15.54% from 1,04,081 units.
  • Hero HF Deluxe expanded by 13.43%, to 70,581 units from 62,223.
  • Suzuki Access rose by 8.16%, at 54,587 units.
  • TVS Apache rose by 9.98%, to 37,954 units.
  • TVS XL 100 fell by 19.82%, at 41,872 units.
  • Royal Enfield Classic 350 held firm with a 0.19% increase.
