Classic Legends has intensified its rivalry with Royal Enfield by launching the all-new 2025 Yezdi Roadster Roars in India. Priced from ₹2.1 lakh to ₹2.26 lakh (ex-showroom), the latest iteration blends retro charm with modern styling, powered by the new Alpha 2 engine.

A Star-Studded Launch

The launch event saw Anand Mahindra, Anupam Thareja, and Boman Rustomji Irani unveiling the Roadster’s refreshed look. The design updates keep the motorcycle true to Yezdi’s vintage appeal while making it contemporary enough for today’s riders.

The twin exhaust setup continues, delivering a liquid-cooled note with a deeper snarl.

The Roadster’s wheelbase measures 1,440 mm, and the seat height is a rider-friendly 795 mm. Braking is handled by a 320 mm front disc and 240 mm rear disc with Brembo callipers, complemented by Continental dual-channel ABS.

Riders can choose from six factory-custom kits and over 50 personalisation options, making it one of the most customisable motorcycles in its class.

Engine and Performance

At its heart is the new 334cc Alpha 2 single-cylinder, DOHC, 4-valve engine producing 29 PS and 30 Nm. The motor is paired with a 6-speed gearbox and a slip-and-assist clutch for smoother shifts. Fuel tank capacity is 12.5 litres, and the bike comes with a 4-year/50,000 km standard warranty, extendable to six years.

Brand Statement

Calling the bike “a wolf in wolf’s clothing,” Anupam Thareja, Co-founder of Jawa Yezdi Motorcycles, said:

“The memories of a Yezdi rumbling through Indian roads never faded. The new Roadster is ‘Born Out of Line’—a war cry for new-age riders who dare to chart their own course. With bold design, cutting-edge performance, and touring-ready engineering, it’s a call to the wild.”
